Spring keeping

On Sunday Kati from Hungary wrote,

‘Traditional Hungarian winter weather has returned from Ireland to its homeland again …’

She sent the following photographs.

Winter in Hungary

Having checked the temperature in Budapest, Denis packed appropriately. We Irish are very well up on snowy weather now.

Denis emailed this photograph from Budapest last night.

Amn’t I glad spring has arrived in Ireland.

  • The weather is sure to warm up now, I had more oil delivered today!

I’d hate that to be my car in the last photo.

Val, I can understand how fed up you must be. Hopefully …

Grannymar, :) So you believe in Murphy’s law. I had to look twice to make sure it was a car I was seeing!

  • Having grown up in Montreal, where the winters very much resemble the photos you posted of Budapest, I’m happy to be in San Francisco. Our trip home for the holidays this year served to confirm that I’ve lost my ability to cope with snow and subzero temperatures. Oh, and happy belated birthday!

Arianne, I’m glad you are enjoying San Francisco.

We had snowy weather this year for the first time in ages. For a while we enjoyed it but then … actually it was so unusual for us, I have to admit I was almost sorry to see it go. :)

    Thank you re BD
